1. Custom Product Return Policy

At Prexvyxvord, we create custom window treatments specifically tailored to your measurements and specifications. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, our return policy differs from standard retail items.

Please carefully review our measurements and design specifications before approving your order for production, as custom-made products cannot be returned for refunds except in specific circumstances outlined below.

2. Manufacturing Defects

If your custom window treatment arrives with manufacturing defects, we will address the issue through one of the following solutions:

Repair

When possible, we will repair the defect to meet our quality standards.

Replacement

If the defect cannot be repaired, we will replace the product with one that meets our quality standards.

Refund

In cases where repair or replacement is not possible or practical, we may offer a full or partial refund.

To qualify for these remedies, you must notify us of any defects within 14 days of receiving your product. We may request photos or an inspection to verify the defect before determining the appropriate solution.

3. Measurement Errors

3.1 Customer-Provided Measurements

If you provide the measurements for your custom window treatments:

  • We will create your products exactly according to the measurements you provide.
  • We cannot accept returns or provide refunds if the products do not fit due to incorrect measurements provided by you.
  • We may offer a remake at a discounted price as a courtesy in these situations, subject to our discretion.

3.2 Professional Measurement Service

If you use our professional measurement service:

  • We are responsible for the accuracy of these measurements.
  • If the products do not fit due to our measurement error, we will remake them at no additional cost.
  • You must report any fitting issues within 14 days of installation for this remedy to apply.

4. Order Cancellation

4.1 Before Production

If you need to cancel your order before production has begun:

  • You may cancel within 48 hours of placing your order for a full refund.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours but before production begins will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee to cover administrative costs and materials that may have been ordered.

4.2 During Production

Once production of your custom window treatments has begun:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled for a refund.
  • You will be responsible for the full payment of the order.

5. Samples and Standard Products

For non-custom products such as fabric samples and standard accessories:

Hardware & Accessories

Unopened, unused standard hardware and accessories may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, less shipping costs. Items must be in original packaging and in resalable condition.

Ready-Made Products

Any non-custom, ready-made products may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee may apply.

6. Warranty

6.1 Warranty Coverage

All custom window treatments from Prexvyxvord come with a 2-year limited warranty covering:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects under normal use
  • Mechanisms and operational components

6.2 Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from improper installation (unless installed by Prexvyxvord)
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper cleaning
  • Variations in color or texture within normal industry standards
  • Damage from exposure to excessive humidity or extreme temperatures
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

6.3 Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our customer service team with your order number and details of the issue
  2. Provide photographs of the problem when requested
  3. Allow for inspection of the product if needed

Valid warranty claims will be resolved through repair, replacement of the affected components, or replacement of the entire product at our discretion.

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Inspection Upon Delivery

When receiving your order:

  • Inspect all packages for external damage before signing for delivery
  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt
  • Unpack and inspect all items within 48 hours of delivery
  • Report any damage or defects to us immediately

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may limit our ability to file claims with the carrier and affect our ability to provide replacements or repairs under our policy.
